PSI INTERNATIONAL, INC. AWARDED

NIH/OBA CONTRACT

 

FAIRFAX, VA --- PSI International, Inc. (PSI) announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the National Institutes of Health’s Office of Biotechnology Activities (NIH/OBA) to provide MedDRA support including MedDRA Program Planning, Development of MedDRA Standards, Coding of their Adverse Events, Implementation a MedDRA Training Program for their personnel and providing other related services. Under this contract, PSI will process NIH/OBA’s Adverse Events Reports, medically code them using the International Conference on Harmonization-approved Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA), perform quality assurance, and electronically return the coded records to NIH/OBA. PSI has processed two million adverse event reports and coded over thirteen million terms in MedDRA for the FDA, the Department of Veterans Affairs, CDC, NIH and the pharmaceutical industry.
