(PSI) announced today that it has been awarded a contract to assist the Medical Research Information Technology Systems, HQ (MeRITS) in developing a strategy to implement the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) across the United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) located in Fort Dietrick, MD. PSI will perform a needs assessment culminating in the development of a complete implementation strategy for the MeRITS Program Management Office (PMO). PSI will provide an "as-is" assessment, consisting of a review of current practices as well as existing MedDRA structure; evaluation of the command structure to ascertain their MedDRA-related needs; an overview of MedDRA internal structural issues; and recommendations for MedDRA implementation and training.
